He did it!!  A finished reading the Book of Mormon all by himself! 

He’s been working on this goal for about the last 18 months and he finished it last night.  He’s so excited.  I am so excited for him.  His goal was to read it before his baptism.  He turns 8 tomorrow and gets baptized on Saturday.  It’s going to be a great week.

    That is so awesome! Having the dedication and self discipline to do that will bless him so much in his life. Enjoy his baptism. Our two boy’s baptisms have been one of the spiritual highlights of my life.

    that is sooo amazing! how great for your little son to feel such a huge accomplishment in his young life.

    I have a friend who’s sons just turned 8 this year. they got the boys scriptures for their birthday. one of them has already read the ENTIRE bible and is now in ether in the book of mormon.

    these kids are amazing! i hope i am doing as good a job as you as raising mine!

    Hooray! My oldest child turned 8 this year and he accomplished the same goal. I was so proud of him. I never would have thought that to be possible before we began homeschooling.
