Happy Easter

April 12, 2009

From Revelation 22:

He “is the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.  And let him that heareth say, Come.  And let him that is athirst come.  And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.  Amen.  Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

This is one of my favorite pieces, the final movement from Robert Cundick’s The Redeemer, an oratorio for choir and orchestra.  We were listening to it in the car on the way home from my parents’ tonight and I knew I had to find a way to share it here.  Happy Easter!

Thanks. That truly brought the spirit of Easter. Can you tell me who did the painting of the angel with Christ?

Do you want to go to the Farm with us on the next sunny day?
