Wordless Wednesday: In remembrance

May 8, 2012

Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection—Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life.

And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow. (Alma 40:11-12)

What beautiful pictures you have to share with your children.

It’s such a blessing to have your grandparents with you for that long that they can know your children and your children can know them.

I’m glad he got to live a long and joyful life, and only sorry that your boys – especially D and E – won’t have known him better.

Love the words and the pictures. I loved your dad’s talk yesterday. I think my favorite part was his spin on “the next words you hear will be that of your father” and the sweet reunion of him and his father. Also, the description of grandpa moving from the loving arms of his grandchildren here to the arms of his grandchildren who were waiting for him there.
