Pumpkin Patch

October 30, 2013

A has been wanting to go through a giant corn maze somewhere, but that’s just not happening this year, not with my body in the shape it’s currently in!  But we had to do something for fall, so on our way back from the Shakespeare Festival, we stopped at an orchard and went on a hayride to their pumpkin patch.

I think C could have stayed there all day!  There were pedal tractors, sand to dig in, a maze made out of orchard bins, and a giant slide with burlap sacks that all the boys loved . . . well, except E.  He tried it once and was done.  But every time we lost track of C, he was sure to be found back at the top of that slide!

The pumpkins were almost an afterthought, but we did grab a few to bring home.
